So after staying at the TRYP Lisboa Caparica Mar Hotel in Quinta de Santo António with a beach front view, taking in breath taking sunsets, sippin' on the best sangria, eating the freshest of seafood, experiencing the view from atop of Sanctuary of Christ the King; none of this compares to the views and experience I had while at Cabo da Roca!
Cabo da Roca was about a 30 minute or so Uber ride from the Mar hotel.
And now folks get ready for some of the most beautiful landscape and ocean pics you've ever seen! OK not a pro photographer but you get the point ;).
So soon as you get there and start down the obvious path you'll see the following building below if you look right.
Now here is where it gets a little tricky :) I didn't get a photo, but a little ways down this path, there is a big sign that basically says "Crossing the wooden fence is prohibited and punishable by a large fine" I think the fine was up to something like 500 Euros!
So ugh... with that being said... hmm... don't ask how or where I got the pics below ;)
OK Wow! That was quite a few photos; and for the record some were taken by my sexy Ukrainian girlfriend so I can't take credit for all of them. I had to add that because I know she's going to read this ;)
So if you keep going left and start walking down the dirt and rocky path you will be officially approaching the 'most western point in continental Europe'! Cool isn't it?! Â
So here I go walking towards the most western point in continental Europe.
So that's it folks! I hope you enjoyed following along my little adventure in Cabo Da Roca! I'll leave you with some photos from outside the restauraut there in the local square.
Well I guess that really is it! I know I'm sad too! If you didn't catch my first post on what to do in Lisbon catch it here. If you were planning on visiting the Cathedral and Pombaline check out my post here.
Thanks,
